Do not live here. Money hungry management has reached out to my old roommate and I that lived at the New Broadmoor 2 YEARS AGO, asking for us to pay them $100. We were perfect residents who were actually owed our deposit, but we never pursued it because we enjoyed our apartment. However, Daniel L is the newest property manager that reached insisting we blindly pay some fake bill after we moved out years ago. I am disgusted at the money grabbing management that will go as low as reaching out to old residents asking them to pay fake "bills" from years ago. Save yourself the heartache and find a new apartment to live at.

ZERO stars. I lived at the New Broadmoor from January 2020 to March 2023. During the winter of 2022, residents became aware that the heat was not working. We were not advised of any issues by management. No resolution or assistance was offered to any residents until we reached out to management first - this "resolution" was to provide space heaters (2 per apartment) which were insufficient in heating the square footage of a 2 bedroom apartment. We were given a measly $50 discount on one month of rent (which, for most folks sharing a 2 bedroom apartment with a roommate, amounts to a $25 discount on a roughly $1400 rent payment, which is worthless!). We did not have heat for the entirety of the winter season; if you were comfortable with running a space heater in your bedroom non-stop (not very safe), the remainder of the apartment (bathroom, living room, and kitchen) were still completely freezing and in spite of our attempts to obtain compensation, management refused to provide any kind of discount or reimbursement. Our gas bills (paid through the rental company) were also over $100 throughout the time period of the heating failure, and management claimed that we were paying for previous months of gas bills and that the heating failure would be reflected in later gas bills. Didn't matter much for me and others who moved out before the heat ever started working again. Management (looking at you, Tony Lopez) and owners do not care about the residents they house and are the very definition of parasitic and self-serving. In fact, our boy Tony was posting Facebook Marketplace listings of available units in the building offering a $100 first month discount to try and lure people into living the icebox that was the New Broadmoor - more of a discount than those of us who lived there for years got! Do not live here, you will be disregarded and taken advantage of.

Been living here a little over 3 years now with my roommates. Honestly it's been the best apartment I've had in terms of an easy place to live.

EDIT: Still without heat, 3 months later. Do not rent from here unless you want to pay for basic necessities that you wonât get, and then get vague answers as to if youâll be compensated for a quadrupling electric bill that they caused. It was a great place to live until a recent change in management. Now, it has been a continuous headache of clerical issues with our lease and rent payments. Not even to mention that the heat has been out in our building for the last 2 weeks, with nothing but radio silence from management. The only things offered were shrugged shoulders and some space heaters that trip the decades-old breakers. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!

I enjoyed my year with the New Broadmoor up until management changed the month before I left. I am owed $1796 because of a clerical error on the new managers part and my owed security deposit and have been completely ghosted for the last two months. I have left countless voicemails, messages, emails and no one will respond to me. When I finically did get a hold of the manager he told me to call the next morning and screened my calls. I have been cheated out of my earned money and no one is willing to make this right. DO NOT LEASE HERE if you need ethical business practices and good communication.

We've really enjoyed our time here over the past 3 years. Maintenance has been prompt with any issue that has arisen, Thyson has been great, we have had very few issues with packages arriving & no issues with neighbours or loudness. The best features are the in-unit laundry & central air. My only complaint would be I wish the unit didn't have carpet & it had a full sized fridge (it's dorm sized so we can't stock much). It's been a pretty seamless living experience here, wish they had bigger units available so those of us who need to size up over time could upgrade.

I lived here in 1973/74 while attending the "U" no car needed in this neighborhood. Safeway grocery store on 9th east, laundromat 100' away. Little bit noisy on the weekends some caused by us playing guitar. Good memories. I remember the rent when split between roommates was very affordable. I got in shape walking and riding my bike.
