This is the worst apartment I have ever been part of. The actual layout of the apartment was fine, but too pricy. That stated, their management is the worst. They do not give your deposit back, which I can live with. They went through 3 managers when I was there from April 2017 to April 2018. They never fix any of the old stoves, fridges, or heaters. Their maintenance is the worst. They also will try and get extra money from you after your lease is completed. They are a corrupt company, their management does not live in Utah, and they are overpriced. Definitely go somewhere else...

The New Broadmoor is a great apartment to live in. Amazing location that is only 1 Trax stop away from the University. Walking distance to City Creek (20 minute walk). Good prices as well and nice apartment design.

The current manager (Thyson) is the best manager thus far! In the short time that he has been here he has already displayed more drive and results than all of the previous owners combined. I think the complex is finally in good hands and I can confidently say that this is looking like a place that anyone could easily find a happy home in.

I have lived here since April 2017. It's a decent place to live that's very close to campus that is mostly affordable for college students. I have never really had any problems with management, but one observation is that they are usually impossible to get ahold of. Office hours are posted on the door and on the website, however, no one is ever there during those. If the office is closed, calling them won't work either. Not to mention that the landlord changes every few months. Communication is not very good. If that changed, it would make this complex much more attractive.

Lived there for 1 year in 2015. Rent was OK but Extremely bad management. The heating kept turning itself off in winter. Had to call the manager/maintenance person constantly to turn it back on. Can you imagine the cold utah winter night without any heating? Ridiculous. Your neighbors can be loud and having party until midnight. And there's nothing you could do. You get what you paid for. During move-out, the manger attempted to keep my deposit, which was claimed to be fully refundable. They finally backed out of their little trick when I told them I would see them in court.

The new management is really helpful and responsive. They ensure the complex is always kept clean and they have recently added the dumpster for recycled waste.

The New Broadmoor is a fantastic place to live. Since our new manager, Thyson, took over a few months ago, management has greatly improved and now works closely with residents to meet needs quickly and efficiently. Living expenses are affordable, plus the included appliances are a huge bonus (washer, dryer, google fiber readiness - to name a few). Just a mile walk from the University of Utah, and a block away from all UTA trans, itâs a perfect spot halfway between campus and downtown. Love living here!
